Universal Studios is reportedly in development for a remake of the 1994 sci-fi movie, Timecop. The film originally stared Jean-Claude Van Damme as a Time Enforcement Commission Agent from 2004, when time travel was made possible. Timecop is considered one of Van Damme’s most critically and financially successful works, but Van Damme is currently not involved.

I’ve been hearing about a Dark Tower film adaptation before I even started reading the books a few years ago. The Japanese Film Festival of San Francisco is the first fully dedicated annual Japanese film event in the California Bay Area. On Monday, the J-POP Summit Festival announced that they would be holding the event this year from July 27 to August 4, 2013. The festival will feature Shinsuke Sato and the U.S. premiere of his live-action Library Wars film.
