New 'Brave' Trailer is Confusing, but Pretty

While I'm  definitely not ashamed to admit I'm excited for this movie, Disney's marketting for the new Pixar feature, Brave, continues to baffle. Disney seems to be struggling to find its footing on just how to sell the distincty DreamWorks-esque movie, releasing confusing and fairly nonsensical trailers (and at one point, straight up running a full scene in front of certain films). The latest full length trailer is the biggest offender of them all, and while it does look cute and fun, I still have no idea what they're trying to sell me on. Still, there's lot of great imagery and music. Watch what feels like three different trailers below.

Also released is a new clip from the film, involving kids, pies, and good helping of mischief. Brave will hit theaters on June 22.
