Mass Effect had a pretty strong showing at E3, but there's plenty that we didn't get a chance to cover since then. So buckle up and enjoy a batch of rumors, news, and an interesting new "trailer."

First off, there's a number of game features that I totally missed when they were revealed. In case we're both in the same boat, let's catch everyone up:

  • ME3 will have same-sex romances for both the female and male Shepards. For any of you hoping to make your closetted and/or lesbian Shepard fanfics a reality, now's your chance.
  • Every (surviving) party member from the first and second game will appear in the the third installment, but not all of them will be party members.
  • Tali, Garrus, Liara, Ashley/Kaiden and a new character named James Vega have been confirmed however.
  • There will be new love interests, and your old ones will know if you cheated on them.

In addition, it was recently revealed that the female Shepard will finally feature into the game's box art, gracing the cover of the Collector's Edition alongside her male counterpart. So that's cool.

But that's not all! Rumorings abound as Eurogamer reports that: "Mass Effect 3 is strongly rumoured to feature a four-player co-op mode. Eurogamer understands this four-player, online-enabled co-op mode is “standalone” and features “competitive elements”."

Waaaaht. Awesome.

And that's not all! Mass Effect 3 went all Prey on us with a live-action trailer. You can check that out below.
