E3 2010: A Few Missed Gems...
With all the hype over some of the titles (notably Nintendo's and EA's conference), I'm noticing a lot of sites are ignoring a few titles. I don't think because Zelda, Metroid, Assassin's Creed, Portal, and the gang are at E3 means we should be ignoring these - we never know what will be the next huge game. So, here's a quick run down of some properties of interest...
Flingsmash
Originally called Span Smasher, this was the title I was most excited for last E3. It's hard to believe it's been all that time, and the only info we had is that it would be a budget title, and that it had a new name. By whipping your remote around, you and a friend can control the two new (simple) characters and do some damage. Apparently there is Motion Plus support, too, which is great by me. It looks like a bright and colorful title we can all love.
Heroes on the Move
Sony specialty sites have to be loving this, as this was one of the few worthwhile moments in the Sony conference. Just for Move, characters such as Jak, Sly, and Daxter are going to have worlds collide. To get a taste, check out the vid below.
Resident Evil Revelations
It looks like Resident Evil is going to actually give Nintendo some love, as the press site revealed new screens for us all to foam at the mouth with. We really have no information but how badass the screens are (if they aren't pre-rendered).

Medal of Honor
In the midst of EA's great lineup and presentation (easily the second best, behind Nintendo), we saw some more of Medal of Honor. For some reason, though, no one seems to care...perhaps because it doesn't have the initials CoD? Anyone that knows anything will know that this new MoH game looks great. Trailer below...
Mario Vs. Donkey Kong
Last E3 was all about Mario. There were four titles, and one was a DSiware version of Mario vs. Donkey Kong that was all the rage - and is easily still the best title on the service. This new one appears to be a retail release (although, we have no confirmation), and includes Mini Pauline and Toad! It also looks like the level editing got an overhaul. While the other Nintendo titles overshadow this baby, make sure you don't. Mario vs. Donkey Kong is easily one of the best puzzle titles around.

There's a reminder right there about five titles you should get on checking out! Don't forget Pikachu's Adventure, Twisted Metal, Sorcery, Tiger Woods PGA 11, and all the other great E3 titles!

Great post! Mind if I use some of the information from this post if I provide a link back to your site?
Please do!
I played some of those games back in the PS1 era...nice games...it was a lot of fun...
Pretty good post. I just came across your site and wanted to say that I have really enjoyed reading your blog posts. Any way I'll be subscribing to your feed and I hope you post again soon.

Great Post, My favorite by far is the medal of honor. They are becoming more realistic with every release.
