The Avengers Blu-ray will have 30-minutes of Deleted Scenes, Wait, Really?

So Avengers was awesome. And with the film clocking in at two hours and twenty two minutes long, it certainly wasn't short on material. So obviously, there must be half an hour of deleted scenes currently floating out there...

In an interview with Collider, director Joss Whedon revealed that The Avengers' Blu-ray will have 30-minutes of extra material. That would make the original cut of the film almost three hours long. I don't know about you guys, but considering how much I loved the movie, I think I could've gotten behind that.
