'Iron Man 3' Breaks Records, Keeps Marvel on Top

We’ve all been waiting, watching the calendar and the clock, counting the seconds until the Iron Man 3 premiere. And when I say all, I’m not exaggerating. At least, not if the box office is anything to go by. Iron Man 3 broke records to hold the spot of the second biggest domestic opening of all time. Bringing in a staggering $173.5 million, it ranks second only to Marvels companion piece, The Avengers ($207.4 million).

Kevin Feige Talks Marvel Sequels, New 'Thor' Still and 'Winter Soldier' Concept Art Revealed

The release of the first post-Avengers Marvel movie, Iron Man 3, is fast approaching, but that doesn’t mean that Kevin Feige and crew can rest easy. They’ve still got several other sequels to worry about, as well as some new characters to make palatable for movie audiences like Ant-Man and the Guardians of the Galaxy.

'Iron Man 3' Sets the International Box Office Record for the Series

For Tony Stark, a man worth over $9 billion, the $195.3 million Iron Man 3 has taken off with is not that surprising. For Marvel however, the third Iron Man movie to star Robert Downey Jr (Tony Stark incarnate) has set new franchise records while premiering overseas.

Gwyneth Paltrow Drops a Bombshell: No More 'Iron Man'?

Just days before we true believers prepare to feast our nerdy souls on Iron Man 3, Gwyneth Paltrow, aka Pepper Potts, gives us a reason to sulk. While nothing's official, Paltrow at least seems pretty sure Iron Man 4 will never happen.

Check Out Two New Images from 'Thor: The Dark World'

Marvel has slowly, and painfully in my opinion, been releasing Thor: The Dark World information.  Now, two new images from the upcoming sequel have been released, hot on the heels of the recent trailer.

New 'Thor: The Dark World' Trailer

The first official trailer for Thor: The Dark World is finally here, and it doesn’t disappoint. The Son of Odin has returned and must fight against the mysterious Dark Elves in a decidedly more serious and action packed sequel. A love triangle also seems to be in the works between Thor’s mortal love, Jane, and his Asgardian comrade Lady Sif. Plus, Loki’s back!

Hayley Atwell Suggests a Peggy Carter Short Film Could Screen at Comic-Con

Hayley Atwell, the actress who played Peggy Carter in Captain America: The First Avenger, insinuated that Marvel may be debuting a short film featuring her character at Comic-Con 2013.

'Iron Man 3' Post-Credits Scene Possibly Revealed

As you may or may not already know, Iron Man 3 was already screened in Paris. As with any big screening, leaked information has been trickling out on the internet. Among the rumors of a tie in to the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie is the revelation of a post credits scene involving Tony Stark and a member of the Avengers. Originally posted at Latino Review, what follows is a description of the scene...

This is Awesome: Poster For Patton Oswalt's 'Star Wars Episode VII'

By now you've probably seen Patton Oswalt's improvised monologue on how he'd make Star Wars Episode VII at least once (or twice, or ten times). It was one of the most epic nerdouts the internet has ever seen, and considering it tumbled out of Oswalt's brain without any prior writing or thought, it's pretty amazing. Somehow, it's gotten even better though. Entertainment Weekly had Jef Castro create a poster for Oswalt's pitch,a nd it's basically the greatest poster ever made. Check it out below.
